Burmantofts Community Nursery
Situated in the heart of inner-city East Leeds, our community nursery is a warm, inclusive, and vibrant space where children and families are at the heart of everything we do. As a registered charity, we are proud to serve our local community by providing high-quality care and early education for children from 9 months old, supporting each child’s unique journey from the very beginning.
Our nursery is overseen by an enthusiastic and supportive Board of Trustees, all deeply committed to ensuring that every child has the very best start in life. Diversity is celebrated and embraced here; we value the richness that every family brings to our community and ensure all children feel seen, respected, and included.
Grounded in the principles of Birth to 5 Matters (2021), we believe children learn best through play. Our experienced team provides stimulating, playful experiences that encourage curiosity, independence, and joy in learning.
Working closely with families, we offer practical support and a welcoming environment for all. Through our partnership with FareShare we provide nutritious meals and snacks free of charge, ensuring children are happy, healthy, and ready to learn.
